As Hollywood declared ‘Times Up’, Alpha Grid and KPMG embarked on a campaign alongside the World Economic Forum in Davos to give women a louder voice.
Fifteen female leaders from around the globe added their voices to calls for bolder steps towards inclusion, in the hope of creating an empowered future for all. The influencers featured within the series included Grammy Award winning Singer Songwriter Annie Lennox, Australia’s former Prime Minister Julia Gillard, CNN’s Chief Correspondent Christiane Amanpour and 13-year-old CEO Mikaila Ulmer. The prevailing theme from all women was that now is the time for change.
The video series resonated with people all over the world boasting around 1.6m views on social media and thousands of likes and retweets. Prominent personalities such as Hugh Jackman and Condoleezza Rice also shared encouraging messages about the campaign on Twitter.
